Hello everyone,
I was thinking of trading one of EDC knives for a used Seb, but then realized that
I really dont want to let go of my EDC. Here is the situation,
I have a small regular seb with the american flag engraving and thought why
dont I just carry that ! I know you can send your Seb back to the factory
for a reconditioning, but does that include the anodizing of the graphic ?

I sent my small BG42 "In God We Trust" in for a refurbish,and the scales were bead blasted.I told them that was OK to do when customer service called.I believe CR knives can either polish or bead blast,but not reannodize.I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong
 
Gut feeling tells me that one can get the anodizing redone for a price. If in doubt call. All in all I would say use it or buy another, either way you are good to go.
 
I remember talking to someone from CRK about reanodizing and I was told that it could be done but sometimes it'a hard to get the colors right. But others here claim that it (having CRK reanodize) can be done with no problem. I guess your best bet would be to call them and see what the policy is regarding this.:cool:
 
I just spoke to Heather last week, i want to send my small regular in to have the calvary graphic done on it. The anwer to your question is no they can't reanodise a existing sebbie. they can do another titanium slab for you, then you would have two or buy a entire knife. Hope this helps
 
Thanks guys for the replies :) I think I will just use it and enjoy it. I currently started carrying a Strider PT and it is great, but not a Seb :)
 
Use it!

Why would you not use it? They can refurb it if needed, thats why you buy a CRK. They can also refurb damascus blades, I called em'.

They will reanodize, but it does cost extra.....and the colors will not be the same. Close, but not the same.
