Welcome back to Fiddleback Friday! This is exciting for me. The holidays are here! I have some stellar woods in this weeks batch. Also, requested K Estella Bushies, and a beauty of an Arete. Scandi’s with tapered tangs in this one too!
As always, my first priority is to thank all of you from myself and Ron and our families. We depend on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.
The prices this week are without sheaths. I am lucky enough to work with both Heber Ellsworth and Rick Lowe. Both make fantastic sheaths that are completely different from one another. I appreciate your support for them as well.
All of the steel is 3D Spalted 01.
Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day. Shipping is included within the US. We do all our shipping on Thursdays.

Also, for your viewing pleasure check out this Shank with a convex Daggergrind. It’s a dud unfortunately. The scratches I put in the tang to facilitate adhesion of the epoxy show up from under the scales. It was an amateur handle cutting mistake. C’est La Vie. At least I can say I can do the daggergrind now. (Typical engineering philosophy says that you can’t do something till you can repeat it.) I’ll be repeating this knife you can be sure. Its dangerous. The tapered tang and daggergrind leave a leaflet of steel thin and fast.
