Another Bowie for Blade with some of my 1084/15N20 Damascus, stainless take-down fittings and a "Flaming Crotch" stabilized Walnut handle from some material I salvage from the wood pile!
Let it dry for the better part of a year and then sent of to be stabilized.
I managed to set the Crotch right in the center of the handle.
Blade was forged with a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slight recurve. I had just recently re-viewed The Lord of the Rings, and had some slightly elvish ideas in mind.
This blade is light, but serious.
9 inch blade - 14 overall.
(Still has yet to be hot-blued!)
Just couldn't wait to do some photographs.
