Years ago -- we're talking like 1984 -- Atlanta Cutlery catalogs carried something called a 'Flapjack Sheath' (or 'Holster' perhaps). The actual pouch part of it looked like a conventional one with a snap flap -- but the unique part was the back, which spread out in a sort of wide-oval with the belt loops on the far ends.
They were suggesting it for truckers, since it did not protrude below the belt line. Only one size was available, for 4-inchers (or something smaller than what I had), and the one illustrated was a light-brown leather with a sort-of basketweave pattern.
Could these possibly still be available under a different name?
Thanks in advance!
