Flared tube fastener question

Noticed the flared tube pins on my SOB Prototype are a similar but slightly different finish than the double cut finish on the blade. The flared tubes look almost like titanium. Are they? Or bead-blasted steel? Thanks!

SOB protos were bead blasted so the pins also have a blasted finish. They are not titanium.

Most of them in the past several years have been stainless steel, either shiny or blasted. Older ones were that or a brass style.

I actually thought they were nickel (or something like that....) and the finish was as they came (not changed by Busse).

I could be wrong however.

Not too long ago Jerry addressed the whole tube thing, brass or stainless...my Google-fu is weak tonite but it's on here somewhere.
