Flash II Blade Wobble

Can any Flash II owners tell me if their knives have any side to side
blade wobble when locked open.

I sent my new Flash II back to SOG for repair with significant blade
play. I just received it back and the repair tag states:

New washers, Buff lockbar, buff LB button, paint safety lever (it
when through the wash when brand new and the red paint came off),
and Female pivot fasteners.

It may be a bit better but it still has significant side to side play when
locked open.

Is this as good as it gets? This is my first SOG folder and I'm pretty
disappointed. I really like the knife but the blade play drives me nuts
when cutting. Can the pivot tension be adjusted. It doesn't look
like the pivot is a hex or torx fastener, looks like it may be a rivet.
Also the aluminum handle may prevent the blade from being tightened
further than it is. Is there anyway I could add a shim at the pivot?

My Benchmades have zero play, yeah I know they all cost a lot more than
the Flash. But my old CS Voyager is much more solid than the SOG.

Sorry for the venting. Thanks for the long read and any help you can
give me.

My Blink had a bit of play too, you could tighten the pivot but i don't think it would open properly, i think i needs a bit of play to open smoothly

I've got a SOG Flash II with the aluminum handles and it too has signifigant side to side blade play. In fact, I hate it! I have the combo edge tanto blade. If anybody wants to trade something for it (or buy it) I'm open to all offers. It's in mint condition, with box/papers, never sharpened, NO scratches.

My EDC now is a Spyderco Ocelot, and I'm very, very pleased with it.

My Flash II has the zytel handles and no side to side blade movement. I am actually very happy with this knife. Perhaps the aluminum handles prevent the pivot from being tightened enough.

I was able to adjust the play thanks to someones suggestion on another
thread. The pivot screw is a 2mm hex socket, but the hex part is very
shallow and the bottom of the hole is very ragged and it didn't look like a
hex head at all. Tried a 2mm wrench and it did fit, but not very deep.

I was able to adjust out all of the blade play. It is tricky to get the play
out and still have the SAT opening work. It took a littlle while but I got
it adjusted pretty well.

I do like that SOG polished the lockbar parts. The lockbar moves much
smoother now, originally it was very sticky even after being lubed.

Thanks to all for your help.
