Got a basic Flash II for Christmas, what a nice surprise. Such a deal for the price range, IMHO, and sinfully fun to play with. Makes me really, really, wish they made a Flash I.5, with about a 2.95" blade (for the usual stupid legality reasons) and an around 3.9" handle--that would be a perfect EDC for me, everywhere I go. I may pick up a Flash I, though it's kinda small both blade-wise and for my hands, just to try it out. Out of curiosity, does anybody know the blade thickness on the Flash I? I can't find it in any of the usual vendors' specs, or on SOG's site. Thanks.

Welcome to the SOG site,:D , I am new here but I am not new to playing with FLASH 1 and 2. If I am not poppin a FLASH, then I am poppin a TWITCH 2, I love them all.:D Sorry I don't know those blade specs, but Some one may chime in that has measured, I can tell you the FlASH 1 is a cool little knife,(very easy to conceal) and very reasonably priced, If you get a chance, check out the new TWITCH 2, I think it is a about in the middle on overall length, I bought one last week from smoky mtn. knife works and it is built very well and super fast opening by the thumb bar or studs.:D

I don't know the Flash 1 blade thickness either, I'd guess about 0.10", but it is a great little EDC knife. The clip design allows it to sit deep and unobtrusively.;)
Try it, you'll like it!

Welcome Kasy. :) Glad you like your Flash II. Am thinking that one of the Twitch knives would be about the right size.
