I am needing your input if anybody has used or currently owns a Flash II Rescue model, it looks like it has a fully serrated blade. I usually only go with spyderco when it comes to serrated blades, but I do not own a sog and am looking at purchasing this model and the sog hunter revolver. Definately getting the revolver but the jury is still out on the rescue model. Any help would be great. Thank you

I don't own a rescue model but it looks exactly like the Flash II models except for the blade.

I have a couple of the Flash IIs and they are great.

I have looked at the blades on these many times and they are scary sharp as far as serrations go, the tip is blunt, but If my memory is correct the bottom of the blade past serrations is sharp.

They are tough knives.

You will love the Hunter Revolver too............:D

I'll second Robbie's verdict on SOG serrations.

Spyderco, rightly, is famous for their serrations and built their company around the idea. That said, SOG definitely knows how to do serrations right.

Serrated SOGs cut just as quickly and just as aggressively through anything they go up against.

They're every bit as sharp as they look! Gotta love the lighting in that shot.

I just picked up a Flash II to use as a work knife yesterday. It is not the rescue model and I used it today for the first time. Worked very well for me. The serrations are very sharp. I'm cutting fabric (clothing, carpet, leather, canvas, nylon, rubber etc.) with it, so the serrations come in real handy. The sharp point pokes right through and gets things going. I think you'll like the resuce model of the Flash II if you don't mind the blunt point.

Revolver hunter is a great knife. I like mine.
