I stopped by Target today to pick up some toiletries. On a whim I decided to check out the flashlights. I noticed one in particular there, a Dorcy Super 1 Watt. It uses a single CR123 battery. It seems like a nice enough light, but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it? If so, how does its brightness compare with a Nuwai Q-III?

Thanks guys.

I bought the Dorcy Super 1 watt CR123A light at Target for about $20 and am pleased with it. I don't have the Nuwai, but you can view a comparison of the two lights here:

The same web site reviews the Nuwai, too:

I held the Nuwai at a Sharper Image store and didn't like the feel of the coarse knurling. Felt like holding a porcupine.

My thumb is short and it's a little difficult for it to bend and reach far enough to fully depress the Dorcy's power pushbutton while holding the light in the same hand. The beam is white enough, i.e., no blue or yellow tint that I can discern, and it has a good amount of spill.

The spill and brightness of the Dorcy is less than my 2AA Mini Maglite fitted with a TerraLux TLE5 LED upgrade, but more than my 1AA Coast Digi Tac I Led Lenser David 15 (7840).

The Dorcy construction feels smooth and solid, due to the thickness of the aluminum. I've been carrying it daily since I bought it.
