Yesterday I recieved an HDC EDC B60LE, and a Fenix P1. Holy postal dream day Batman!!! Did I mention that I should be receiving a FFIII Today or Friday. Dang, what a week. Tax money gone now though, so it'll be a while before anymore spending like that happens. LOL.

The P1 is awesome. Its as bright as the EDC on burst, but a little bluer. My P1 and my L1P have the same tint, if that helps. Its not quite perfect, tint wise, but really nice and close. Again, 45.95 delivered though. And so small. The beam is perfectly formed with no deformations. Its spilly with throw like the EDC.

The EDC, wow, an engineering wonder. My boss is totaly enthralled. Mad at me even. Says his wife is gonna kick my butt. I used it on lowest setting this AM in the truck, really sweet settings. Totaly happy with it, and got a great deal used too.

OK, OK, OK already. Heres the pics!

I like those ! especially the P1. Is that a mini-Bic for comparison ? naw... cant be , hmm ?
Dang , i'm jealous now... hehe

No, its a regular sized Bic. But thats a good goal to shoot for. Have to design a new battery size for it though. LOL.

What I am blown away by is the diameter of the P1. It looks to be the same as the L1p. Wow.

I received my P1 yesterday and all I can say is WOW. The twist on is a little tight and the threads needed some smoothing, but what a little torch!

I'm waiting impatiently for my P1. Hopefully Monday will be the day.

David/4sevens made some offhand remark about 2 level P1's being a couple of months off. I don't know if he meant from Fenix or a mod.

According to the Fenix website both the L1P and the P1 are 2cm in diameter.

Great lights!! I have been soooooo wanting a FF3 & an HDS!!! My P1 will be arriving on the 31st.

My Fenix P1 came yesterday. It's even better than I thought it would be and mine has a great tint (I won The Lottery I guess). I actually don't think I would want it any brighter without a lower setting. I had read some complaints about the quality of the threads but they are smooth on mine.

What color is yours? Mine is silver, and had very rough threads.

I got the silver P1 as well. The first thing I did when I took mine from the packaging is clean all the threads and then apply new lubricant. I don't know if that made a difference or not. I think I've been lucky, because out of three Fenix lights I haven't had any problems, other than

Someone on another forum mentioned taking a Dremel with a nyon brush bit and smothing out the threads. I don't know if that will help you or not.

I have had trouble using the Surefire brand batteries in mine, though Duracell work fine. I think the foam ring will break down eventually, but 4sevens/David from the Fenix Store said he will send any of his customers, that bought from this batch, a better foam donut when they come in. He just asks that they send him an e-mail with their order number. I think I've been lucky, because out of three Fenix lights I haven't had any problems, other than that little piece of foam.
