Flashlight/Headlamp Modifications

Anyone out there modifying their flashlights or headlamps?

I recently discovered www.candlepowerforums.com. Since then I've dropped a Willie Hunt 8AA conversion into my 2D Maglite and am thinking about putting a Luxeon Star in my old Petzl Zoom. I haven't used it since I got my petzl Tikka, and it's a perfect 4.5 volt testbed.
 
:) I just mean't I hadn't been there until recently. I think I detect some good-natured (I hope) sarcasm in your response...

When's SureFire going to make a headlamp. Maybe a Luxeon Star driven by 2 123s in a Type III Hard Anodized combination heatsink/battery holder. Wouldn't be that much bigger than a Petzl Tikka but a whole lot better ;)

Sarcasm is a cultural trait (let's face it, it has to be... ;) )

Regarding SureFire Headlamps: It's hard to think that PK would dance around his office with a SureFire Headlamp strapped to his head.
Actually, I'd really like to see that!
