Holy smokes, I am a complete flashlight newb and have decided to kinda jump deep into the fray and roll my own light so to speak.

I have been a Surefire fanboi for years, but had stopped carrying a light for years. This changed when I bought a Four Sevens bolt light, and realized there was a whole new world of flashlights since Surefire 6P incandescents were the gold standard.

So, browsing Oveready I saw their acrylic hosts and fell in love. I assume they aren't a dealer and I can't link. :(

My question is, can I use a Malkoff "M61WLL (warm tint, low low) to fit Surefire" in a Oveready host body?

I feel that it would be a perfect EDC light, with the warm incandescent style lighting of my old Surefire 6P and 10+ hours of run-time. Then all it needs is an anodized Ti clip, and it will be truly perfect.

Thanks for any input, and for looking at my silly pocketligt dream. Feel free to PM me if you want links.

If you get an Overready P60 Host, then yes you can use a Malkoff M61WLL in the flashlight.

CPF is the definitive source for all things flashlight related.

Can't you just use any p60 size LED drop in to retrofit your 6p? I'm pretty sure I have done that on my Surefire M2 and 6p (old school body though)

Yes, you just need to buy a Surefire P60 head and the "Moddoolar C Series Interface". They have a clip for their Triad tail, it's just not titanium.
