Just refinished these for a customer...

A custom-made "Dam Cham" (by "Mr Bulk")...I sanded down all the heavy machine marks...and took it up to a highly polished finish. Then I nitre blued it. The pics don't begin to show off the jewel-like appearance...but you'll get the idea:

The finish looks almost flat in these photos...Trust me, it's seriously polished

This was also for the same customer... A "Raw Da" (by Rob Cheetham of "Orb)
The tiny light is made out of Damasteel (a stainless damascus). The maker chose to have the raindrops on the tail end of the flashlight...but as a result the pattern over the rest of the light is very tight (aka small). The maker (who designs wonderful, wonderful lights), had no previous experience with etching, chose to do it himself. And they turned out kinda flat-looking. A couple of his customers have since sent their lights to me do that I could improve on the finish.

Once again, these pics don't accurately show the actual finish. It's much shinier than what you see here.

Unlike what the photo below suggests, the tail end is seriously bright and highly polished. No matter how I setup the photo lights, the etched areas look much darker than they do in real life.

By chance, this customer happens to live nearby. So I got to deliver these in person. We met today at the new Starbucks that's less than 2 minutes from my house... Fun to be able to chat with someone local about custom flashlights...and other assorted "toys-for-boys"... :D
