Flashlight Recommendation?

I am a professional photographer and need a recommendation for a flashlight. What I need is something that I can when I am shooting in poorly lit places to light a very small area (as in the setting dials on my cameras). aI' like it to have a built-in clip so I can attach it to a jacket pocket. Ideally, it would also have have a short (3" - 4") goose neck with a small LED, a positive on/off switch and use a single AA battery.

I am sure I have seen lights like this when browsing on-line catalogs, but now that I need one.............!

Anyway, any suggestions, links, etc., would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

I would probably go for a small headlamp, sometimes I wear my old Petzel Tika loose around my neck in reverse position (so that it points forward not down) and it's handy for a situation like what you mention. Mine is old and I know there are others, I believe most use 3 AAA batteries.

My daughter has five ring flashlights that are very handy. When our power is out I wear one and barely notice it. If the breaker on our generator trips the house is instantly black and the ring flashlight is bright enough to get me out to the shop the reset it.

I also like headlamps when camping, hiking and climbing. Having a free hand is invaluable sometimes.

Check out the Photon max; it comes with a small clip in which it is easily maneuverable and a magnetic base. It's a bright, adjustable coin-cell operated light.

Pelican LED... Lifetime gurantee, good battery life, waterproof(trust me it comes in handy)

Great lights...

Arc-P is what comes to mind. Before you said LED, my first thought was for a Sure Fire E1e.

I've seen exactly what your looking for. Takes a couple of button batteries, clips to your pocket/hat/whatever and has a 3 inch gooseneck with a nice bright white LED at the end.

Unfortunately, I've only seen them at autoparts stores and the like, and never noticed the name.

I think there have been a lot of great suggestions here, but I'll throw one more into the pile. The Streamlight Clipmate is almost exactly what you are looking for, but uses 3 AA batteries instead of 1. I really like mine, and I gave one to a hunter who really likes it as well.

You can pick them up online for $15-$20 at a lot of outdoor places like Cheaperthandirt, Midwayusa, or others.

Try looking at the Fenix LOP (SE model), 3 brightness modes, super bright (Cree) led, small, good runtimes, hardcoat finish, glass anti-reflective treated lens, uses 1 aaa.
