I wanted a pocketable sheath to protect this little gem, a Fire Fly III, and these designs are what I came up with. Just slips into your pocket and keeps the light from getting damaged by the custom SAK in the picture. Anyway its been a while since I posted sheaths, but a bunch are upcoming. I've got sheaths ready for Sogguy and HD, and will post pics soon as I'm done with finishing.

(The SAK started out as a layer mod I tried, and failed at. One of the members of the SOSAK offered to do the mod for me (a prince among men) and this is the results. It has the pliars, a saw, sciscors, and a phillips screwdriver in addition to the blades and bottle and can opener.)

I'm including the before picture of the SAK just for giggles.

Good stuff Andy, nice sheaths and an SAK MacGuyver would be proud to tote. :D

Gracias Amigo!!! You should have seen that SAK start to pop to pieces when I pushed out the pins. There were parts flying everywhere. LOL. I learned not to mess with folders that day.

Get one on ebay bro. You can find a Huntsman, one of my favorites, for ~10-15 dollars used in good condition thanks to our Homeland Security Department.

Good work Andy.

I love leather. Uhhhh, you know, sheaths & stuff.:o

ROTFLMAO. Steve, I never get tired of reading your posts.

Gracias.

Dave I can make you one. You got a light to fit it? I can send you the pattern if you want.

Dave, send me your address and I'll send you a set of manilla folder cutouts like the ones I use to mark and cut the leather.

Thanks DH. Some people have asked why I didn't use a snap. Its just personal preference. What do you think? Snap, or just a tabbed closure. Snaps are easier.

Andy,
PM sent..

Deaths Head,
Question...Where would one aquire a ring like the one in your sig??

Either one is fine. I think tabbed closure could be just as easy to use as snaps. Snaps may be more secure, but unobstructed tabs allows some cool stamps to be put on the front.

Leatherface. Do a search for "Titanium Tear-Jerker Self-Defense Ring", and you will see more pics and info on how to order.
