I finally opted for a Fenix, but I still hesitate between the L1P and L2P. Your opinions?

Fenix P1:p

Just got a P1 last week and it throws as good as my Inova XO, crazy how small it is but how much it packs a punch.

I'd definitely go for the L2P. It's a bit brighter, but has much, much better regulation. With a lithium battery, you can get 3 and a half solid hours of perfect regulation on the L2P. The L1P offers significantly less runtime with a bit less output. What it really comes down to is a matter of size. If you don't mind the extra size, I don't see much of a reason to go with the L1P, personally.

If you have rechargeable AA batteries and don't mind replacing them every so often, I think the L1P is a hard package to beat. Good brightness and runtime and small enough to be carried easily without being a chore.

You can't go wrong in either case, however, it really just comes down to how you want to use your light.

It is not really for EDC, I'll keep it in my school bag, use it for shows (behind the stage) and for travel/vacations. So I don't really need something small, so the L2P looks the best choice. Still, anyone else?
