After one month, this is where I am. Am I screwed? Any other flashaholics over here. This is my first post in this section.

I like your Inova triplets there. I see the finish is holding up will.
I enjoy the Fenix. Great little light.

How is that River Rock light? I have the 2AAA model in black and liked it so much I got another, but I can't really justify that one you've got. I have a good 5 or so flashlights and that's enough for me.

Yes, I too admit to flashaholism!! I have 4 sitting on the desk next to me as I type this. Never mind the rest of the lights!!!

The sickness really hits when you get into the really high end/custom lights like HDS or McLux.

I do got some criticism for you, on the L2 and L4 Surefires. I'd get rid of one of them off Ebay... is it really necessary to have the L2 and L4? I got about 3 Surefires myself, and find that with their LED models, I only need about 1 of them. But once you've got it, its hard to let it go, even if you don't use it... that's the benefit of the 10 year shelf life on the CR 123 Lithiums.

As for the Fenix flashlights, I've never understood what people really like in them. The runtime is ok, and they run off AA batteries, I get that... but I think the AA Inova's fit the bill just as well, and give you better runtime.

As for the lights I got...
Surefire Lights
- Surefire E2D (my traditional carry at night light for last ditch defense),
- Surefire G2
- Surefire 6P (first light I pictured up).

Streamlight
- Streamlight Stinger HP (with rechargible batteries and fast charger)
- Streamlight TL-2
- Streamlight TL-3
- Streamlight 2L Twin Task Light (perfect for the car)
- Streamlight Stylus UV (2 of them, one for home, one for car to check for leaks in AC Units, etc)

Nuwai
- Nuwai Q III--> decent little light, if you just need something small clipped on your belt, and you get about 1.5 hours of bright light on 1 CR 123

Inova
-Inova X5- 2 of these, one White LED, one Blue LED
- Inova AA cell light, forget the model number off the top of my head

Maglite
-Mini Maglite 2 AA with Nite Ize LEDs--> I've got about 2 or 3 of these for the Car, Bugout Bags, etc... you get about 8 hours of good light off 2 AA batteries . Not the brightest, but cheap enough you don't have to worry about losing them in an emergency or handing them out to the unprepared.

Elektrolumens
-Blaster JR- nice light--- about 75 Lumen for 8 hours off 3 AA batteries in a mock D-cell 3AA setup (hard to explain, but 3 AA's fit into a dummy D-cell battery)

I've got about 5 others, just don't feel like going through all of them...

I just wanted to add... that FRY's sells Rechargible CR 123 batteries, and I've had good experience with them in my E2D, and in my Inova X5.

I got bitten, not too bad though. I've got 3 flashlights for EDC...:o

an Arc AAA-P, lives on my keyring
2 CMG Ultra-G's, one on a neck lanyard, the other in reserve
a Mini Maglite with a TerraLux TLE-5 upgrade, in my Pocket Organizer

Other than those, I've got:
a Streamlight Scorpion, in my car's center console (my first "good" flashlight)
an Inova X5, which I gave to my dad
a Gerber Infinity Ultra, the coating totally sucks swamp water, decent light

The flashlight on the most wanted list right now is an HDS Ultimate XX model.

Nice lights !!
When I got my fed tax dough , I went on a little led spree , got the two River Rock's , the single AA model and the 2 AAA model , both of which I think were bargains for the money , I like the two AAA model better, both seem fairly well made and sturdy , time will tell.
I got a Garrity 3 AAA model that is okay... I mean it's a lot fatter and not the same quality as light as the slim River Rock 2AAA model I have...It's seems to be sturdy though.
I got one of these by Dorcy http://www.dorcy.com/products.aspx?p=414281
I like this light a lot like when I walk at night , puts out a good white beam.
I scored a Streamlight http://www.streamlight.com/keymate_info.htm Key-Mate that I really like , for it's size it is remarkably bright , also pretty economical at $12.
I got a Gerber Sonic , I love the shape and the look of it , also like the fact that it runs on just one AAA , the light it puts out could be brighter though , seeing as how I have a single AAA Chi-Com led (knurled aluminum , silver , it's not too bad I guess) that is brighter than the Sonic.
For the money and quality and size I vote for the Streamlight Key-Mate. :)

I do got some criticism for you, on the L2 and L4 Surefires. I'd get rid of one of them off Ebay... is it really necessary to have the L2 and L4?

Of course its necessary. And I think he needs some more surefires.

Uh, yeah...you're screwed.

Let's just hope the beautiful little girl pictured in your avatar grows up with straight teeth. ;) :D

I'm glad to know I'm in good company.

I like the little Dorcy, and for 19.99 at Target, why not. Same opinion of the 1 AA River Rock. It has a lens rather than a reflector, and so the beam is super tight with very little spill though if you don't like that. It does have a signal feature though where it flashes on and off. For 12 dollars at Target, pretty cool too.

As for the Surefires, I really like both of them. The L4 is my favorite. I've been EDCing it and the Fenix L1P. I may get the two stage mod, but I'm not too positive.

Slugfast I've got tons to learn before I can even speak to your flashlight wisdom, but the reason I'd pick up the Fenix over the Inova X1 (which I really like too) is that you can stand it on its tailcap for hands free operation. I find I use it that way a LOT at work. Seems almost too simple a thing to be important though, huh?

I need to check out Nuwai, don't know squat about them. And Streamlight too. My neighbor is LEO and uses only Streamlight. He beat a group of attackers off with his large one. There was so much blood all over the light it stopped working. Streamlight was delighted with his story and immediately replaced it. They also sent some 411 on properly cleaning the old light to use for spare parts. Thats good service. I'm also taken with Peak's products, and I'll probably drop a little on one of theirs. Any suggestions.

Oh yea, I have joined CPF. Its so busy there though I have a hard time following it.
