Flask preference?

If you use potent enough spirits in a flask then you don't need to clean it....ever ;)

Sounds like Everclear is the multi purpsoe Flask cleaner/ Spirits that solves both issues, Looks like a decent flask

I'll have to go with this one:

My pockets are a little smaller, so I've been known to carry this (not in any wildernesses, though):

Medium Blomus Flask

now we are talking- Midget porters to carry my beverages!

That blomus one looks nice.

and as far as cleaning goes, having bourbon in my flask led to some sediment and crud within. I suppose everclear would not leave crud, but who wants to drink that?

I have the Blomus - it's a good one. Some that advertise as "stainless" still have the iron leach out of them with strong spirits - this hasn't happened with the Blomus. It's one downfall is that the neck is REALLY narrow. You definitely need a flask funnel for this one.

The nalgene looks nice, as does the Stanley The Stanley would match my thermos. Seems to me a small collection of flasks is in order.

I found my flask and the flask/cup set at Whole Foods so that'd be a good place to check if you've got one nearby.

I think REI carries them from time to time too.

Not sure about flasks but I will say that sunnysports company is bada$$. I just bought about $700 worth of camping stuff from them and they were cheaper than 98% of other sites. I did have to do a search to make sure they were a legit company. I ordered my stuff on a tuesday and it was on my porch on friday. As far as flasks go, whatever doesn't spill my drink works for me.
