Alright guys, what do you know, you've never lead me wrong before. I'm looking for an easy to use flatbed schanner in the sub 150 dollar range. Any recommendations?

Lexmark makes a printer that is everything but a fax machine. I have one and it broke so I bought another one. It cost me $50.00 and that is with two brand new ink cartages. One black one color. You can’t go wrong for the price.

I've always been a big fan of epson scanners :)
I will be getting a V600 soon for my negatives and positives.

For a sub 150 scanner I think you won't go wrong with the V30 or V300 (I think there's a newer version though). I've not tried these personally, but I've seen some photo output and they look good. HTH

Epson has a good field-of-depth if you intend to use the scanner to create images of 3D items like pocketknives. Bernard Levine has a sticky in his forum section regarding the use of scanners. Probably some helpful information in there for you.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the thoughts and recommendations so far!
