I'm looking for a flat "credit card style" folder for pocket carry. I looked at the boker subcom and the byrd flatbyrd and I was wondering if there were any other options for a knife like this in the 20-30 dollar range. Right now im favoring the flatbyrd because of the longer blade and similar weight. Any imput would be appreciated, thanks.

The only other credit card folder I know of was the Spyderco Spydercard. Unfortunaly it is OOP and is going for a lot more than $20-30 from most third party sellers.

BTW, I have a FlatByrd and think it's a nice little knife. Not sure I would chose it for pocket carry, but its great to slip into small packages like PSKs or emergency kits.

There is the SOG Access Card. They have a new model called the 2.0 and an older model. You might be able to find the older model for $30ish. The newer 2.0 models go for a lot more than $30.

If I'm not mistaken there is a very small SOG folder, I think it's called the Micron. It's not credit card style, but I think it is about that thin. It's pretty cheap too $20-25.

Doesn't really get much flatter than an EKA executive slim line. Roughly 2 1/4" blade of 12c17 drop point, with the width of the knife just under a quarter-inch.. Here's an image of one closed, taken from worldknives.com.

I have a Benchmade Benchmite. I actually prefer the Boker Subcom. Framelock > levitator imo. CRKT Stubby Razel comes to mind too. Might be able to replace those ram scales (or whatever they are) with something thinner.

ToolLogic credit card companion interest ya?
