My interest hass been really peaked by the full flat ground E4 (C10F) but I'm not really a fan of the colorful scales. Short of buying a second set of scales is there really any options for a more muted setup like the standard black or the OD green like on my ZDP189?

I have an Endura 4 FFG VG-10 with sage green (or maybe its OD green) G10 scales. But I think it is discontinued.

There is no black FRN FFG Endura as far as I know.

You can always do surgery and switch the scales, as I did with this FFG Delica:

You could get a gray model and dye the handles with black RIT dye. You don't need to disassemble the knife, either.

There are threads about doing this on the Spyderco forums... I don't know about here.

They now make a British racing green/ZDP-189 Endura with a full flat grind. If you don't like ZDP, I'll trade for VG-10 FFG.
