Okay so im still learning about knives and today i was using my Tac Blur to do some cutting and i realized it was hard to get a good bite on it. I then decided to get my tenacious out and it cut it phenomenally! so my question is, are there any other knives out there with the full flat grind other than the tenacious and persistence that i know of?

Hundreds, what company would you like to buy from?

Just from Spyderco you have the Military, Caly 3, Sage 1 & 2, G10 Endura, the new FRN Delica & Endura, Native CF, and probably more that I can't think of right now.

Mentioned only a sampling of the offerings from Spyderco because there are too many to remember off hand or not enough time to type them all.
Para Milli, the smaller Persistence
Benchmade 740/745 Deja Vu

Here's a great one for $25. Ontario Rat Mod 1 Folder.

I'm drawing a blank....

Probably a nobrainer but you can get a SAK or Opinel. Best blade geometry in the world, IMHO

Add the Spyderco Stretch and upcoming Manix 2 sprint to those. The end of the year RAT Cutlery folding Izula will sport a FFG too.

There are great choices out there when it comes to FFG blades! Spyderco does great ones as many other makers also. Here is my favorite. Burger EXK.

Off topic, but how do you open that Burger? No nail nick, no opening hole? Nice looking knife though....

Back on topic. Spyderco's use of the full flat grind blade is REALLY impressive on the Caly III and the Mil. On those models, Spyderco throws tip fragility caution to the wind and utilizes a super thin distal taper grind. Pure cutting performance.

The Burger has a little nub that stick up at the end of the knife when the blade is closed, so it's not on the side like a flipper. You then grab the nub with your thumb and open it almost like you were lighting a disposable lighter, from what I can tell.

Hopefully we can get some more pics because I have never actually seen it done.

Spyderco:
Military & Para, Police G10, Endura G10, Delica G10, Sage, Stretch, Caly 3, Native CF, Temperance, Barong, Kukhri, Chinook, Cat, Chicago, Dragonfly, Meerkat, Etc.

I hope this can help guys. I can easily open the knife right and left handedly.
