I bought a Bob Dozier master hunter 11 years ago from A.G. Russell that was an experiment Bob tried to up production. The blades were laser cut and CNC ground instead of hollow ground by Bob.The heat treat and handles were then done in the shop but the experiment did not last long and only a couple of styles were made. The Master Hunter I bought has a 4" blade and Coral Rucarta scales and is marked Arkansas Knives in a circle with Dozier in the center.I prefer a flat grind to a hollow grind and the thin flat grind combined with Bobs magic D-2 steel results in a blade thats easy to get sharp enough to whittle a hair and hold that edge longer than any other knife I own.Glad I got one of these and would like to hear from anyone else that has one of the flat ground knives made for about a year and a half in the early 2000's and sold only through the AG Russell catalog.
