Flat Ground Chinook II

Does anybody know the status on these? Have they shipped or even neared completion yet? I'm dying to get a hold of one.

I think I heard before that they'll become available once the existing hollow-ground dealer stocks run out. Anyone else have more definite info?

I know from a german forum member (messerforum.net) that he already got his Flat Ground Chinook II

So ask your dealers. BTW this seems to be extremely rare - we in Europe have a Spydie before

I emailed Spyderco and this was the response they gave me regarding it.

It is not quite out yet, should be within the next 30 days.
