If Buck re-introduced a "vintage" 110 & 112 with a flat handle, would you be interested? Or should the flat handle be left to history?

TAH, those abrupt edges sure do seem grippy when you're inside a deer, compared to the more rounded and more slippery edges of recent design.

I think it would make a great 50th anniversary edition. (for 110)

2013/14 isn't too far off.

Edit- Actually, I'd love to see a two knife set with a perfect replica of a '64 and another made ultra modern (carbon fiber, titanium, ect..) Progression without loosing what made the knife great in the first place.

Doubt that would happen. More than likely, the blade would not be 440-C, it would have the current grind, and be marked for production year. Handle would have to go back to ebony, fewer pins, etc. There would be enough difference to maintain the value of the originals.

Just razzing ya TAH. Would probably drive the value of the old flatties up.

Yea, I know, PR. Sadly, new flatties would just be flat and not have all the "hidden" features of the originals. :(

I have to go against the herd on this one....

I don't care for the flat handles at all.
They look nice but I find them uncomfortable after cutting for a while.
