I'm interested in a very high quality tool I can zip into my wallet or put on my keyring that gives me a variety of options... Most important being flathead, modified Phillips and bottle opener. I saw a guy on this forum who was doing a high end tool but I can't remember the name..... Any ideas?

I'm looking for something similar. You might want to try the Gerber Shard. I'm in the prices of designing one myself.

I have a "My First Victorinox Plus" that i modified that sometimes rides in the coin purse thingy in my wallet. Its only a 2 layer 84mm SAK. I modified the blunt butter knife style blade into a drop point. I ditched the stock grips and made super slender wood grips. The tools are 1.Blade 2.Combo tool (canopener/bottleopener, wire stripper, can also act as a flathead and a philips) 3.Saw blade. It's 0.381 inches thick (9.74 mm), weighs 1.5 ounces. Coupled with a swisscard this is a good little wallet kit.

I wanted to show you an option, but it isn't a flat wallet tool or something for a key chain.

686 original tool belt
● Detachable buckle has:#2 Phillips screwdriver,#2 flathead screwdriver, and bottle opener
● Detachable belt loop has: 8mm, 10mm and 11mm wrenches
It was made as a snowboard tool, but I wear it as my everyday belt when I'm not in work clothes.
Good luck!

A Victorinox Cadet without the keyring and the even slimmer Victorinox Bantam are tools that perfectly fit into my wallet. They provide a flat screw driver and bottle opener. The small screw driver on the Cadet can also be used for philips screws.

I've carried the Sear's keychain screw driver and the P-38 for many years, just as you described. Zipped up in my wallet. They have come in handy while flying, opening a package in a court house, or in federal buildings where a knife or bladed multitool not allowed. No shortage to those in Washington D.C. The keychain screw driver will handle both flat and phillips screws, but I've done a tiny bit of filing on the smallest bit on the screw driver to make it go deeper in a phillips. It also can open bottles with a little prying, no problem.

The P-38 can also be used for flat and phillips screws. For phillips, just use a corner. It also is a great can opener. Last time I was on an airliner, I had to use the P-38 to peel off the heavy foil sealing the little wine bottles they sell.

Both lay felt in the zip compartment of my wallet, along with some other odds and ends. My wallet goes right through the security i the plastic tray, so I've never had any problem in all the flights with this stuff in my wallet.

Another closer look at the tools with a Case peanut for scale.
