Has Spyderco produced any flatground wharncliffe blades, past or present?

If not, I would love to see a Spyderco knife designed from the ground up with this type of blade design, with the intended use of being a whittler. Nice, thin blade with a straight edge and well-done flat grind. Comfortable grip with no hotspots when exerting lots of pressure.

What do you think?

Yojimbo? More of a tactical knife than a whittler, but it might work.

I was thinking of the Yojimbo a while ago. Looks comfy to use, might try handling one if I ever get the chance.

For big whittling I would think the Ronin would be tough to match, or the Yojimbo as second choice. Ranked that way for less chance of hotspots on the Ronin.

The PE Cent II is my second favorite Spyderco just after the G-10 Police PE Flat ground blade. The Yojimbo has a nice blade but the rest of the knife is not great. The handle is just silly. If ever there was a knife that should be tip down, this is it. It is just a wierd knife and it doesn't have to be. Make the Yojimbo less "out there" and I think you have the makings for a good all around knife.
