I thought I would share a link to a magazine article that just came out locally here in Montana. The Flathead valley is about eighty miles to the north of us here and is home to the largest natural freshwater lake in the United States. Around Flathead lake you will find the richest of the rich with beautiful summer homes, boats, and R.V.s

I was excited to have Flathead living magazine decide to feature my work. It's a very high quality glossy magazine that features fine art, beautiful homes, and upscale living.

From this article I had an art gallery in the Whitefish Lodge ask to carry my work and come display at their grand opening in two weeks. Though they sell art and sculpture I hope to broaden their collectors horizons to the world of knives. Here's the link to the article.

Thanks for reading.

Great article Josh. Congratulations. Nice to see you get the showing in Whitefish where, of course, we can think of a couple of other noteworthy makers.

Josh,

That's a great article. It's nice to see knifemaking portrayed in a positive way,

That's a well written article.

Josh, you are doing what I think will be necessary for makers to do in the future; getting art collectors to take a look at knives. Of course, the knives being made would have to be of interest to people that would be judging them on their artistic merit. This type of promotion will require a determined effort, and a lot of work, but I think it will pay dividends in the future. Not just for you, but for the custom knife industry as a whole.

Josh congratulations on an other excellent promotion for you and knives in general. Great write up with lots of fancy words you hardly ever read in knife articles;). Really I'm just kidding....an article like this bridges a gap between "our" world and the world of "real" art. If you understand what I mean:thumbup:

There was no shortage of "creative" language. If you know me well you know I didn't write it. Heck I had to pull out the dictionary on about five words.......seriously. :D

Thanks for the compliments.
