Flattening stones

Hi all. What do you guys use to flatten stones? I have shapton pro synthetic. Not the glass...?

I use a SiC stone, coarse then fine. DM

A diamond plate. They work fine for Shaptons - Pros and Glass.
It used to be a DMT, now it's a Maxi-Smart to avoid sticktion. You an pick up a diamond plate for $30 at chefknivestogo.

I have a glass plate and use the 60 grit SiC from EP for my Aluminum Oxide and SiC stones and 240 grit Alum Ox for the diamond matrix stones. This is what EP suggests and I pretty much follow it.
