Not sure if that's the proper term for them, but you know your standard Oneida or whatever brand dinner knife that's about as dull as a butter knife with some half ass serrations on it? Am I the only knife knut here who can't stand using one of these and has to break out the good steak knives for just about any meal that requires the use of a knife?
I can't stand trying to cut something with one of those dull knives. It's like a safety knife, can't make it to sharp now, might cut something with it!
I even find myself over at my parents and maybe we're having chicken and my mother debates which knife to use, the dull meat mashing flatware knife, or the effortless, neatly slicing steak knife. JUST GRAB THE STEAK KNIVES DAMN IT!!
End of rant.
