Here's something you rarely see, a big ass knife from the King of IKBS!
So, I had my friend Brian over the other day and I was pawing through the back of the safe, showing him some of the Samsons I had tucked away, and I came across this piece in a zipper case. Brian had never seen this, hell, not many people had, but being a friend of Flavio's, I figured he would enjoy seeing the early workings of our little madman in the jungle.
This is a fully polished 9" Bladed Bowie with Stag and Jacaranda handle, stacked with Red/Black/SS spacers and a contoured Butt Cap to match the Stag! This piece is numbered 0974...After picking Flavio's brain, I was infromed that this piece was indeed #974, as in, this was the 974th knife that Flavio made! This was in 2001, and he has since stopped this numbering sequence, so who knows how many have been made since then...I just know he is very unlikely to make any more like this.
