Just returned from North Carolina and a short vacation. Here are some traditionals I was lucky enough to find there...total cost for all 3 was $27.50. I think the jewel of the batch is the Sears stockman with looks like carbon blades, nice patina, eagle/scroll shield. Bottom of blade has Sears,USA, and the number 95233. The Spanish red knife included the box and looks very slightly used. How did I do??

Not too shab.
My first knife EVER as a kid was a flea market gem. An old camper pattern with lots of miles on it.

The sears stockman is nice, I really like that one. I don't know anything about the other one, but I have heard that the Spaniards have made some nice steel.Congrats!

Pretty sweet haul. Gotta chime in on the stockman too. Looks like a pretty decent Imperial advertising Jack too. Blades on those sharpen up pretty good.

How do you like that Aitor?

I was squinting at it real hard until I saw the box, as the Chinese often use a similar logo for their SAK copies.

Yes I know the photos aren't as sharp as I like. The Aitor has the original box, half English/half Spanish, says Made in Spain on it Model #288, still has light oil in the joints, main blade stamped "AITOR Inox ,Spain". The small yellow knife has USA stamped on main blade and the words"Carpenters & Millwrights L.U.620-Madison,NJ.
