Today I made my way to the Hartville Flea Market for the first time, making a point to keep my eyes open for knives. Mostly chinese junk and BudK fantasy knives, but some tables had some decent tacticals and I found a good assortment of traditionals. Mostly Schrade and Case. I saw a Boker stockman in MOP I believe that was hard to pass up, and a few Schrade mini-trappers in bone caught my eye, but these are the two I ended up coming away with.

An old Camillus boy scout knife and a mini-stockman.

The Camillus knife has a BSA stamp in the scales and has a reamer and screwdriver / bottle opener in addition to the main blade.

The mini stockman is from "Parker Cut Co." I plan to clean this up and EDC it in my 5th pocket. It appears unused, could scrape arm hairs off and fit and finish were pretty good.

I Have a Camillus just like that...the Cub Scout model I think. I love mine.

Blue Delrin, one blade, on mine the Awl and the screwdriver lock, but the blade doesn't. Looks like yours does too?

That's correct, mine has the same lock setup.

I just spent about 2 minutes with a strop on that mini stockman and it's as sharp as any knife I own now. Perfect for opening letters and things like that.

EDIT: I tried soaking the Parker in hot water and scrubbed the pivot areas with a toothbrush. Is there anything else I can do to help smooth out the blade action? It's usable, but still kind of stiff and gritty. Also, does anyone else produce this pattern? I'm already really enjoying this knife.

Yikes! Use only food grade mineral oil for soaks. Do a thread search in BRL's forum for "food grade mineral oil" and read the recommendations.
