howdy all. Went to a sportsman's flea mkt recently and picked up an old fixed blade in the sheath, with checkered wood handles and machine screws holding them down. I looked at the blade and it was concave, with D 2 stamped on one side. whenI flipped it over I was startled and blurted out Browne & Pharr?? The guy selling it said what? I haven't seen one of these...so we made the deal and I took it home. I cant find very much info about them, does anyone know of them or have seen one? thanks.

Made 1976-81 by Bob Browne and Cecil Pharr in Norcross, Georgia. Most were O-1 tool steel or something similar, the ads said "High carbon Swedish tool steel". The wood handles slabs were usually rosewood. B&P made mostly multi blade folders, but also made a few fixed blades.

From what I can rememmbe, which is not much, they are a quality blade. Picture?
