I am looking at trying to buy a vintage lightly used Uncle Henry Schrade + USA 167 knife. I do not want any of the new Chinese made ones as I am going to give it as a gift to my Grandson. I am looking a several but I am unsure which is actually the old original vintage ones. I have found one 167 model which has what appears to be raised lettering on the blade. All my old one I own have pressed or what I call embossed blade and all next to the handle. Not raised letters or etching out on the blade. Does any one have any suggestions?
