My Fletcher Knive's Bush Operator XL (BOXL) arrived a few days ago, and all I can say is this is one of the best designs that I've ever handled. It feels as if it was molded to my hand and the edge is just insanely sharp!!

I took it out to a patch of woods behind my house and just started cutting and sharpening sticks and branches. I'm actually surprised at how light it feels in the hand. This blade performs like a BEAST! While doing some light bushcrafting, I had an army of skeeters attacking me, so I started a small fire to smoke them away so I could finish playin' with the BOXL. By the way, it shaved hairs out of the box, and it shaved hairs after I abused it:thumbup:

Also, the sheath is fantastic. It's light, compact, and the snap feature is very well thought out and secures the blade perfectly.

Bottom Line: The ergonomics, fit, and finish are superb. Dylan's craftsmanship is outstanding. Even with minimal play time, I would feel unquestionably confident in carrying the BOXL in the woods whether it be a day hike or extended hunting trip in the mountains. I'm just glad I'm on the "Dibs List" for the Pocket Kilo:)

Thanks Dylan. Your design is awesome brother!!

I've liked the look of Dylans blades since I first saw them. Definitely some awesome work. Thanks for the review/pics.

The BO XLs are reeeeaally nice I was checking them out at Blade. One is definitely on the list of things to get.

Took the "BOXL" to chop down a few limbs and branches on the property. It took care of business without any problems:thumbup:

I was going to order one of those till Dylan emailed me he doesn't take orders. I don't care for the wait and feeding frenzy marketing style. So I placed an order elsewhere.

Dylan's a smart cookie--I've read his "design reasoning" posts and it seems we think a lot alike when it comes to knife design. He's really thought all of his stuff through and had the guts to take a bold stance against certain "features" found on a lot of production AND custom pieces these days.

Agreed. The knives he makes are fantastic and this one looks to be no exception, but there are plenty of others out there.

Your patch of woods has concrete. :D

Nice knife. Good work Dylan.:thumbup:

That handle looks very well contoured.

That's a sweet looking blade. I am waiting on a regular sized BO right now. Can't wait to get it.
