FLEX KNIFE-any owners out there?

i just got one from lyfsfun today. can anyone give me any input on how they fair as a user? if you are not an owner, but curious... check the link. thanks

Hope somebody pipes up. I've wondered about these since seeing an article in one of the mag's. Wonder how many they sold with that stunning flamingo pink handle?

The designer really liked Al Mar's style. There was an article in TK a few years ago about this knife. Recently someone else asked about it and Steve Dick replied that after the article came out the Company went south before they even started producing them.

I don't know.... I think the only knife I'd prefer with any flexibility would be a filet knife. Using a flexible knife of that design seems kinda like shooting pool with a rope, if ya ask me.

I read this part with some interest:

"FLEX-KNIFE is now available in many attractive lifestyle colors."

I eyeballed the colors. I think it should read:

"....is now available in many alternative lifestyle colors."

I own this knife. Very nice and steel is good - relativelly good edge retention. Blade is extremly flexible - as kitchen flex knives.
I love this knife, it is possible to carry it in every suit.
