Where do people get the small flexible saws that they have in their survival kits?

Hey callahwj

Most camping stores have these little wire or SAS saws...

For a few bucks more you should look into a Pocket Chainsaw....

These eat wood period....

My dad and I used one to cut a dead branch off of a tree about 20 some feet up just using a back and forth sawing motion..

The SAS saws are good for zipping through small stuff, but tend to clog up in green wood...

Hope this helps..

If you get a thin metal one go for the more expensive one. The saws range from a three twist to a twelve twist I believe. I got a cheap $5 three twist and it is good for small stuff and packs light for emerganies but if you spend more you get more
