What’s your favourite knife to annoy your wife with in isolation? Can’t seem to put my Spyderco Smock down lately. Not a huge fan of the ergonomics although I am getting used to it. The fun factor is unmatched though IMO.

I’m loving the action of my new 0375. I’ve been firing it out while my wife watches documentary’s or Trash TV as I call it. (Horrible reality hows. 90 day fiancé , Real house wives.... Kill me now). Some of my favorite fidget knives are the ZT 0452 all Ti I got from @TLESharp , anything with a compression or axis lock, and my Old Trail Master.

Bugout
Smock
PM2
Para 3

Those are just a few off the top of my head. There are more. haha

Spartan Pallas for me. It's not much of a flipper but it's a great button-lock thumbstud opener on bearings.

THIS^^^^^ Holy Crap he’s right. I own a Pallas and legitimately forgot about it. It is like a PM2 and a Hogue EX01 had a beutiful, ergonomic child. It is bar none the smoothest and most fidgitable knife I own. I’m going to start carrying mine again!!! Buttery smooth button lock. Flips fine IMO but the thumb studs are defiantly primary opening system.

Agreed with the folks above.
Spydercos with a compression lock are very difficult not to flick and fidget with.
I purposefully save my Ultratech for every now and again because every time I carry that knife, it is very hard not to fidget with.

I'd say my biggest fidget factor is my DC4 sharpening stone.
It's seemingly impossible for me to sit down to a Rom-Com and not immediately grab a knife and a sharpening stone.
If I'm servicing an air conditioner slow feeding liquid or waiting on a thermostat to time out, I sharpen to pass the time.
My knives get used fairly heavy nearly everyday on extremely abrasive materials or just plain ole nicked and chipped, so they need sharpening anyway.
It's easier to fill in my little time gaps with a little sharpening here and there rather than setting aside time at the end of the day.

I'm mostly well behaved, but when I'm carrying a Manix 2 LW I tend to middle finger flick it without thinking, until my wife gives me the death stare. Same for the Daggerr knife I carry (I think it's a Sting, IIRC). She has zero tolerance for the CS Luzon 6, though. I bought it as a novelty but the cheap ginormous thing is very smooth and flips like a jackhammer.

For me......evacuation time is sharpening up the knife I used while doing the repair!

That too, I mean there's lots of times during a service techs day where it's better to be patient and see what the pressures do (I get a little leery if I have to replace a TXV or warranty a compressor)
Despite popular belief, lightning strikes and poor manufacturing aren't the cause of every compressor that goes out under warranty. :D
A little more vacuum after a repair doesn't hurt, a little more nitrogen before a repair doesn't hurt, it's the waiting I can't stand.

Para 3 LW. I swear that lil bastard has a personality. Blade wants to fly out every time I flick him open. He’s a good boy though, still has good detent.

I crack open my Rat 2 with the authority of racking a 12 gauge. She's got some snap that will turn a head or three.
