Flicking a sebbie

I have read that it is not good to flick open a sebenza. Can someone elaborate? Does this mean flick as in open the blade a little and then flicking it the rest of the way open? What about flicking with the thumb stud, is this ok? A good thumb stud flick gets my bm open about as fast as my KE Blur. Should I avoid this with the Sebbie? If so, why.
