Is there a website or a tutorial out there for "How to make flint arrowheads"? I am curious as to how they are made.

Thanks.

Samuraidave,
Good luck with it, I've knapped a couple times, and it takes some practice to get things right. You actually don't want to work with true flint, although you can, obsidian or chert is a much better stone. Obsidian can be thinned down to a single molecule, and is very, very sharp. Weat gloves, or at least expect to wind up with lots of little cuts. The good news is they are almost surgical and don't hurt much. Also, if you can get some antler to make a pressure flaker it really helps. If you send me an email and include your address I'd be glad to send you off a small obsidian nodule to work with,I think I have an extra somewhere. You might try finding a copy of the magazine 'Primitive Archer' it tells how to make different types of aboriginal bows, and tools, and there is almost always at least one article on arrowheads, or spear points. Good Luck.
