Flint knives, who makes them?
Does anyone know who, beside Errett Callahan, makes flint and obsidian knives. I could not find a phone number for Errett. I have an address in VA and I wrote him but he never answered me.

We have a couple of guys here in town that make flint knives, really nice ones. I'll get their names and post them. I also know a dealer for them, if you want to know. He has a number of them in stock and they sell pretty good. The dealer is my lapirdarist and is the flint knife makers' source of flint. I'll give you an e-mail, guy. Edited to add, JP, You have no e-mail address listed, so I can't send you what info I have. I don't want to be selling knives over the Forum, but you can call the dealer, Chris, at 319-752-5660 evenings after 6pm weekdays, or about any time weekends.

Pendentive, thanks for providing the great photos and for the phone
number to reach Errett. That is great stuff! I can only try to imagine how hard it would be to knap something.
