Flint match any good ?

If it is what I'm thinking then my answer is no, not worth it. I bought a little tinder kit a few years ago and it came with a "Flint Match" in a little yellow box. It is just a cheap plastic permanent match. You would do much better to buy a small orange mini bic lighter for ~$1. It would probably last a lot longer. Some people like the permanent matches but if I were to buy one I would want it to be all metal. Just my $0.02. -DT

That's what I thought. ( Forgot to add the link)

I want a tool, not a toy. Might as well stick to the swedish firesteel , or my Blastmatch.
 
Yup. That's the kit. Even the tinder was garbage. Some waxy cotton substance. Save your $5. -DT
