I have a set of 8 flint stainless vanadium steak knives and would like to know if they can be sharpened and how? thanks

Somebody that knows how to sharpen knives. Those old Flints are good but cannot be replaced. Not something to start learning on.
Yep.
I love 'em but can no longer pick them up at Goodwill because they use so much tape on the knives I can't tell if they're bent.
I don't know why but the flint vanadiums are always bent and while I've been able to straighten out robinsons , ecco forge, Eterna, and Imperial Veri Veri Sharp ,the Ecco Flint and Craftsman versions always snap on me

I'd love to know what the Flints and old Cases used for handles. Clean them and oil them they look like new even 40+ years old. That stuff is time proven.
Looks like a laminated plywood of some sort but it is bad azz given how it holds up.

Seen some old laminated handles that have lost layers but not that stuff.
