Sorta a newbie to forum and after owning about a dozen Benchmade knives and just getting a few Strider's a SnG cc and PT lego i realize i would like a nice framelock flipper for edc. Blade no longer than 3 inches and a handle width less than half inch. I did see a Brous Bionic that fit those specs but idk anything about them. Also a few USA made Kershaw knives. Any recommendations?

Thanks Jimmy K

If you can go a little longer on the blade, the Spyderco
Southard is an awesome flipper. Around 3.5" blade, handle
is right at .5" thick, titanium framelock. Great knife!

3.5" is a LOT longer than 3". I love the look of the southard, just too big, same for every ZT (also very heavy). I'm interested to see what others offer OP. I like a 3" or less blade. I get "weapon" remarks with a Dragonfly, but an Alox Soldier is OK (longer blade). I MIGHT push it to 3.25", but knives are getting too big at that mark.

Check out the Spyderco Domino, pretty close to your criteria. Also the ZT 0566 may be worth a look. Blade is 3.25", less than .5" thick, maybe a little heavier than you'd like. Both of these are awesome knives.

Thanks for your input. The Hinderer design i like, would love the XM-18 with 3 inch blade but retail is crazy high. Have looked at ZT 0566 and i do like and i think you can change scales on it. Is Spyderco made in USA?

Microtech Mini Matrix is thin, light, a fantastic flipper, and actually has a 3" blade. The Bionic is also a great option if you get a good one.

The Domino is made in Taiwan. Don't let it sway you too much. I love made in USA as much as anyone but the fit&finish of Taiwan Spydies is amazing. My Chaparral Ti is flawless.
