Flipper design. Makers help?

Been wanting to build a flipper. Just finished drawing this. Wondering if some of the makers could see any problems I might have with this design.

Yes sir you do have a problem with this design. The stop pin will have to be in the bottom of the stop pin slot and the end of the slot should be located forward of the pivot pin.Also the pin slot will not span a full 180 degrees as drawn.

Thank you. So if I rotate my slot clockwise till the bottom of the slot is forward of the pivot it'll be ok? The slot will be in the liners. Didn't clarify that in the beginning.
