I am looking for a new EDC blade because my current Spyderco is simply too worn and I'd like an upgrade.
Trying to find a sub-6 ounce flipper design with a blade longer than 3 inches.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

The CRKT M16 is a very decent flipper for the money. Carried and used by many of our armed forces soldiers in the sandbox.

For $100 you could get the Buck Vantage pro in s30v from various online venders AND a blemish Kershaw JYD with a D2 composite blade from kershawguy. Both are awesome knives for around $50.

Kershaw Shallot, Kershaw Leek (just around 3" blade), Kershaw JYD-II, Kershaw Ener-G II, Kershaw Cyclone, Kershaw Ram, Kershaw OD-1, Kershaw Lahar.

Groove or JYD II Ti/SG2 blem from kershawguy's blem sale thread.

Not familiar with the Groove but the JYD 2 Ti w/SG2 blade from Kershawguy's blem thread was an excellent value and a shot at knife that's not available - and did I say it's excellent? Big sucka too, you'll flip it til you your thumb falls off! :D

Mine came so sharp that it's huge blade could cut figurines in copy paper in one continuous cut. Amazing.

I sold mine like an a** and now the purse is tight having bought some very $$ folders and waiting for the ZT 0551. I should write Kershawguy and see if I can pay on a layaway plan before they're gone.

What he said! +1!

Kershaw RAM...fastest flipper I've ever handled and excellent ergo's. I EDC mine everyday.
