Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a video of a flipper folder in action. I understand the concept but just wanted to see it for myself. Thanks.

It looks to me as though he's using wrist action. IMO,,... a good flipper should require little or wrist action.
(maybe the pivot justed need to be loosened.)

While it's true that a flipper can be used with absolutely zero wrist action, this can be difficult to achieve. It took me a bit of practice to get zero wrist motion on my M16 (at least, where the blade opens pointing up. It's easy if you open it to the blade pinting down).

Flippers are very cool and offer other advantages than speed. Ultimately, however, with practice, you'll discard flippers/holes/studs etc for wrist action alone. Eventually, you should be able to actually make your cut during the intertial opening itself and then flick it closed.
