My first one was a ZT0350
I can only recommend this one
It is assisted but I never had any problem with it, and it can be deasisted if needed but it préfères it with the torsion bar

It you want a more gentleman knife, then go for the Drop Gent
Very good for beer $120

look at civivi or we or take advantage of the ZT sales that run at the moment, the 0470 is a very nice pick

I like the keen, except it's not milled out in the handles and is thus rather handle heavy. But it is really nice.

green thorn f95 (it's techincally a clone shirogorov, but man is it nice. heck, everything green thorn makes is awesome. Look at the GT overkill too)
we kitefin
we miscreant ($233)
ferrum forge executive looks really nice but breaks the 200 mark up to 260
kizer gemeni
bestech ghost

The Keen is a fantastic knife for the money (and most of what WE produces is). I just picked up a ZT 0562 for $199.99 since ZT is on sale through this weekend at pretty much all big knife retailers. It’s pretty sweet, but a much different knife than the Keen.

What do you specifically do where being "handle heavy" becomes a problem? A sword or a shotgun I can see where dynamics are critical. How do you swing a folder where balance becomes an issue?

You have one? How is it?
I don’t have it anymore but it is a really sweet knife. I gave mine to my dad and figure I will pick up another one at some point. It’s way nicer than a lot of knives I’ve had that were a lot more expensive.

You can get a ZT0562TI for less than $200 in many places right now during the ZT sales(the MAP holiday is till 3/31). This is probably the best you’ll get in this price range in terms of material, quality and warranty.
There’s also some other varieties like 0562CF, 0470. I just got a 0470 for $185 this week during the sales.

The places I have been looking at are all over $220 (some with extra sales tax). There was only one or two dealers below $200 but quickly sold out.

The only flippers I’ve owned/own in that price range are the zt0450 and zt0450cf

ZT450
ZT470 (a little over 200, but good design and flipping action)
ZT562CF
ZT562Ti (about 20 over 200, but Ti construction and lighter weight than 562CF, it's worth the upgrade)
LionSteel KUR series
