Flipper Griptilian?

I just got a Spyderco Mantra and man is this a nice knife. Basically a super-upgraded Delica with titanium handles, flipper action, and M4. I'd love to see the same treatment on a Griptilian or other Benchmade model (940?).
 
The 300 was NOT a good flipper, it doesn’t seem like they are well suited to the Axis lock, probably since the bar runs on the tang while it moves?
